This is a sweet iron modified D ring snaffle bit with pinch proof safety ports. This bit also has copper inlay to promote salivation. Notice the extra long port where the ring meets the bit. This keeps the ring from pinching the horses lips. It's an incredibly simple design which takes a lot of the worry out of starting a young horse with the bit. The pinch proof design makes this bit as foolproof as the D-ring snaffle when it comes to protecting your horse's mouth. This bit is a black iron design with copper inlay.
