The colors of horses vary, breeds have a select grouping of desired colors. Markings can also play a role in the horses appearance.

Horse Colors

Bay - Bay horses have body color ranging from brown with black manes tail and legs. Dark bay horses will often look black.

Chestnut - Chestnut horses are generally a reddish brown and lighter than a bay, their mane is often Chestnut as well.
